A native of Utah, Dr. Bryt Christensen earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine where he was recognized with an international award for his spine research.
After completing a surgical internship in Charlotte, NC, Dr. Christensen completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, where he served as chief resident.
His experience working to help patients achieve more functional, pain-free lives inspired him to complete a multidisciplinary Pain Medicine fellowship also at Johns Hopkins where he trained under the instruction of world leaders in pain management. This training provided Dr. Christensen with the opportunity to learn the most up-to-date image-guided interventional techniques that set him apart from other physicians.
For more than 10 years, Dr. Christensen has been practicing Pain Medicine in southern Utah at Southwest Spine and Pain. He is experienced in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and neurological pain conditions and using the most up-to-date approved treatments.
Dr. Christensen’s knowledge enables him to effectively diagnose and treat a broad range of pain-related conditions, helping patients improve their functionality and overall well-being. He has a special interest and expertise in using the body’s own ability to heal and treat pain with the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
