Shayef Gabasha, MD, is an experienced Cardiologist that earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He completed his specialty cardiology fellowship training at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in Fort Sam Houston, TX. He then focused on additional education and experience by completing 2 additional fellowships, one in Interventional Cardiology and the other in Structural Cardiology, both completed at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Cleveland, OH.
Dr. Gabasha is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
From a very young age growing up in Detroit Michigan, Dr. Gabasha was drawn to science, problem-solving and helping other people through challenging times. As he moved through school, he realized that medicine brought together purpose, curiosity and service in a very natural way. By the time he entered college he was on a very clear and meaningful path to a career in medicine.
“My practice is built on patient-centered, evidence based cardiovascular care,” says Dr. Gabasha. “I focus on prevention, early diagnosis, and modern minimally invasive treatments. I believe every patient deserves to fully understand their condition and feel supported in their care decisions.” he concluded.
