Justin Gomez, FNP-C, is no stranger to Southern Utah and Nevada, having received his Nursing Degree and RN from Dixie State University in St. George, UT (now known as Utah Tech University). He then earned his BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) from Western Governor’s University in Salt Lake City, UT and his Nurse Practitioner from University of Southern Alabama.

Justin has more than 10 years’ experience working as an RN in a variety of care settings including medical, surgical, and emergency services. He worked 4 years at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, UT and then spent 6 years in the ER at Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite, Nevada.

Conditions that Justin treats include:

• Joint pain and care for the hip, knee, shoulder, hand, and wrist.
• Skeletal injuries such as bruises and fractures.
• Ligament, cartilage, and tendon injuries. 
• Muscular injuries including strains and sprains.
• Inflammation conditions including tendinitis and bursitis.
• Sports medicine injuries.
• Shoulder and knee pain.

When asked about his approach to medicine he said, “My philosophy of care is centered around treating patients as family which includes taking the time to listen to their concerns and providing them with clear and concise information”.

When not seeing patients, Justin enjoys time with his wife and 3 sons. He also likes outdoor activities, especially mountain biking.
